Bruce E. Anderson, AIA
Born in Seattle, Washington Bruce earned a Bachelor of Arts (1981) and a Master’s in Architecture (1988) from the University of Washington, where he also received the Architecture Faculty Design Medal and was elected to the Tau Sigma Delta Architecture Honor Society.
Bruce Anderson began working with James Cutler in 1982 and became a partner in 2001. He has served as a guest critic and instructor at the University of Washington, Chair of the City of Bainbridge Island Planning Commission, and President of the Bainbridge Island Land Trust, a non-profit organization that has protected scenic vistas, wetlands and over 1,000 acres of wildlife habitat.
